Energy Carriers Step

This step lets you choose the types of energy you'll consider in your model. Each energy carrier needs three things: name, type, subtype and color. For additional information, see the Energy Carriers section.

Note: Choosing the type and subtype doesn't affect any data directly. It simply determines the default color used for representing that specific energy carrier in your model's visuals.

You can always return to this step to add further energy carriers later.  If you try to add e.g. a supply technology which is not in your list of energy carriers, you’ll be asked if you would like to add the missing energy carrier to this list.
